Design Colors: Select the number of colors in your design

Print locations count as separate colors. For example, if you have a white design on the front of the shirt, and a black and white design on the back, your total design color is three.

Dark shirts may require a underbase, which counts as a design color. For example, if you are using a black shirt with a red and yellow design, your total design color would be three. Exceptions include white or light/pastel colored designs.
